lol..the “Iranians will arm themselves and overthrow the government” plan is such a pipe dream. Imagine if you’re the average Iranian dude and you see two powerful militaries attacking the IRGC and failing to submit them. There’s no way you’re thinking of picking up a gun. And how many people were ready to ruse up? Do we have info on this? What’s the extent of their training? How will they organize when Iran shits down the internet?

And regarding the Strait. It’s like if Superman for some reason decided to bully a villain that had kryptonite. The villain had an idea that the kryptonite might be useful but not sure to what extent. Now that he had used it and sees it’s power, there’s no way he's giving it up.
