No I didnt. I got banned for two weeks because MAGA figs have very thin skin.

MAGA and Aggie Hank are the two thin skinned elements on this board.

DeSantis and abortion banned at 6 weeks would have made Kamala President. No doubt he would have lost Ohio. No neoconservative or wishy-washy on Ukraine-could begin to win the rustbelt.

Abortion is no longer an issue at the federal level. The so called neoconservatives of the Romney/Ryan days are over. Like Pence, DeSantis would have outlawed abortion at the federal level.

DeSantis is currently fighting off corruption allegations of his wife. It is why she isn't running for Governor.

Ron would be less effective against the uniparty than Trump is

He's more uniparty than a lot of other R governors, he LARPed in Trump's camp until it became clear and Trump started cooking him.

If you see a Harvard JD, you know damn well all they ever cared about was getting into office. It's the primary uniparty pipeline.

He's a good governor, though, and that should probably be his last stop, but I think he'll do a Rick Scott bounce-around.

Neoconservatism has absolutely nothing to do with abortion.

They always had to give lip-service to wanting Roe overturned. Of course, they didn't really want that.

Trump’s delivery and the way he goes about things shoots himself in the foot more than anything. He acts like a child and is easy to exploit and bait. A lot of us look past it. Many don’t. The fact is, a good portion of the country is stupid. They vote for the man and not the actions. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve known who voted for Biden because they thought he was empathetic. And their votes count just as much as anyone on here.

You can either resist that, and call them stupid, or you can try to catch as many as you can by at least being more tactful. It is important to get as many folks on your side or not repulsed as possible. The way he does things is absolutely unnecessary. He can still get what he wants accomplished without the name calling or confrontations or “owning the libs.”

Some of you guys get off on pissing off the other side profusely, not realizing their votes matter.

It was Ron's responsibility to win the nomination.

He didn't get it done.

Uniparty is pretty straightforward, I'm sorry it confuses you. It means Rs who acquiesce to "the center" ie are more than happy to play ball with the Democrats and turn heel when Trump pushes something dramatic.

Neither a hard concept, nor a buzzword.

Its a caricature of the reality we have. If you really believed that, you would be against the "big beautiful bill" that straps you with more debt. But you really dont.

Just another worthless slogan.

I mean it's not policy but it shows you what kind of person he is. Ultimately that matters to folks.
