Predatory dealerships, which are everywhere.

It is legal to use an EBT if everything you purchase is for the recipient.

Violence is silly. It does not matter if the person is a Democrat or a Republican, rich or poor, hurt no one.

you wouldn’t make such silly assertions,
I don't think you meant to reply to me, since my statement is inline with yours about foster kids. If you did, please take a reading comprehension course.

Yeah... The overwhelming majority of EBT card holders aren't in that situation.
The point is, don't be quick to judge without knowing the facts. Just because someone can afford a nice car, doesn't mean they shouldn't accept the government assistance that comes with taking care of other people's kids. In this situation, it was freaking Dollar General and he was buying milk, bread, and other staples. Not Costco and had a buggy full of prime beef and lobster tails.

No it is not. You are absolutely wrong. No one is allowed to utilize the EBT card other than the recipient of the benefits.

All parents of many public school districts received these after covid. Something about the children not getting their free lunches. I had no issue using mine.

In some states, you might need to be a designated user for the person, but even then, the law will overlook it if you are purchasing food for the recipient.

Many people are unable to go shopping for various reasons, so the government will allow it.

Did you or did you not assert that they could be foster parents? You seem to be struggling with the fact that there are very few foster parents nationally in relation to the number of EBT recipients. There are roughly 400k children in foster care in the US but there are 41 million EBT recipients per month. If every single child received an EBT card, that would equate to roughly 1% of all EBT recipients. Let’s revisit who needs to practice our reading comprehension skills

Been seeing similar things since I was a kid. I’m 58, and never had a problem understanding what a “Welfare Cadillac” was.

I was about to say... and they sent them out this summer, too. Breakfast and lunch are free in EBR schools. Why? Because so many of the kids qualify it's easier to give it free to everybody instead of trying to charge the small percentage of kids who don't... plus, the mindset around here is give it to everybody or nobody ( see TOPS).

I also had no qualms about using the one they sent for my daughter... and here's the thing, she refuses to eat the school food and brings her lunch every day.

If anyone saw me using it at Mathernes or Albertson's or Calandro's, my Apple watch is a fake I got from the NASA giftshop for $60... looks just like it, has imitation watch faces that look just like the ones for the Apple Watch. Doesn't work worth a shite at doing anything else besides telling time and reminding me to walk around once an hour. I'm mostly a fan of Apple (though aggravated by a lot of their stuff) but their watch just kind of feels redundant to me when the iPhone is always in my pocket, and I hate anything with batteries that small which means it has a limited lifespan.

If that’s the case … what is this statement asking??

How would you like to have a 50% discount each time you buy groceries?

Are you under the impression EBT card patrons receive a 50% discount??

bullshite. It is illegal in all States, every single one. The Federal program guidelines prohibits anyone but the authorized user utilizing the EBT card.

Keep grasping for straws but illegal means illegal…. It is called fraud…

It is not fraud as long as the recipient is receiving every penny of food and not selling it.
