We didn't learn anything new from Trump.

WE didn’t, but uninformed Dem & Independent voters that are just now paying attention, likely did.

His demeanor was perfect, IMO. Any digs/criticisms were followed with facts justifying his opinion. Well, mostly.

You could feel the relief in the room from the reporters, just happy that someone is letting them ask questions and then getting direct answers in return.

It must have been very refreshing for them.

Some clapped as he walked away. I would not have expected that.

Fox News did. Not sure about the rest.

The last Trump did something like a presser; he made it very clear that demonizing MAGA is saying you don't want to make America great.

They all ceased with the MAGA and the danger to the democracy garbage.

Biden said the danger democracy stuff in his leaked edited interview yesterday.

So they got nothing else...

I've been critical of Trump and his campaign lately, but that was a very good press conference. Rambled a little but mostly stuck to the issues and didn't fall into any traps.

I agree with the folks saying that this was a very productive and strong news conference.

The fact that his opponent won't do one says alot.

It's been almost 10 years and they still have expectations of a polished politician.

Trump is Trump and they need to get over it. He is who he is.

The bottom line however is Trump has the character to do the right thing when no one is looking.

He doesn't speak like a politician but he has proven time and time again he wants the best common sense policies for the country.

Some people who claim to be conservatives will never understand what you and millions like us know about Trump, he's the most original down to earth person to hold high office in the past 100 years.

why did trump say he contributed to Kamala in the past? ugh

He's been saying it for years, how the Dems loved him when they were taking his money.

I guarantee you, Kamabla will have a PC tomorrow.

If she does, it will be from a teleprompter, and she won't take questions, unless it is from specific people with the questions dictated to them.

CNN and MSDNC cut away about 20 mins in, and started “fact checking” and saying he’s trying rewrite revisionist history basically

You wanna bet? It will be at least a week. They have to give her all the questions first so she can memorize the answers. No way in heck they are going to put her in front of a bunch of reporters answering questions like Trump just did.

it wasn't long after Trump was elected that I started telling people, "I think I would like to see every President from now forward be someone who has never held a political office previously."

I am still of the belief that it would probably be the best possible alternative for our nation.

Well she or one of her handlers will have to respond regardless.
If they do not, it shows weakness.

Either way, Trump wins.

It's almost as if at the beginning he looked at this list of talking points & kicked them to the curb, went off-script which lead to the rambling. In the second half he pivoted and began to swing hard on policy & his plan, and he landed a homerun to end a very good presser.
