Imagine having DECADES of dedication to and experience in the military and being pep talked and lectured to by a national gaurd Fox News host. LAMFAO!

We can watch it now and not have to imagine.

And, one can't go through life without experiencing some unpleasantness. I wonder if there is a Patton in the audience?

I love Trump's policies.

I hate his speeches. In real life, would any of you respect someone who brags so much about himself and just makes things up?

Patton, McArthur and all the real US military legends would absolutely love Trump.

Sounds like you’re just a leftist. All Trump is doing is talking about what he’s done and what he’s going to do. How is that bragging and making stuff up?

While watching a few minutes of the auditorium speeches , I was overwhelmed by a very telling picture....

The vast majority of the general staff was baldheaded. They are old boomers that need to be cycled out to pasture.

Did you miss the "I love Trump's policies?" Would a leftist love Trump's policies?

Brags: "I obliterated" the Iran facility---no you didn't, hundreds of service men performed their jobs flawlessly.
"They call me the President of NATO." What? Who has ever called them that? Most of us support the US leaving NATO.

Make stuff up: "5 to 7 thousand troops die in Ukraine war every week"
Putin said "You're the hottest country."

I could go on and on...obviously he had to get elected to enact the policies that I think are so great....so the self-centeredness and making things up on the fly obviously appeal to people. Thank God for that.

It's just a matter of taste. OBVIOUSLY, Trump is an effective leader. His unique personality was necessary to break the stranglehold the leftists had on our country. Again, thank God and Donald Trump for that.

I wish they had done a Come to Jesus meeting military-style like when I was in the Combat Arms for over 20 years.

Should have been a 0400 height/weight/tape in PT uniform. Flag and fire every fat arse slob there.

And then a two day arse chewing and training. Then a full AFPT. I'd love to see those generals break out their lame arse permanent profiles.

I would have written him a speech like this:

Hello Gentleman,

God bless America. We are an Alpha nation, and you gentlemen are our nation's Alpha leadership. From now on, your President will treat you like it. What Secretary Hegseth said is the law. I am the law. Disobey at your peril. Obey, and we will build a stronger America together. I respect each and every one of you. Don't make me regret it.

Good day, gentleman.

So drill sergeants can now curse at, yell at, and touch the troops. Let’s go all the way back to the Viet Nam days of the draft…. when they did all of that…. Plus, dragging you out of your bunk in the middle of the night and starting a fight with you….kicking and hitting you … putting you on KP duty for a week…no weekend passes…. Latrine / sh•t duty for a week…. etc., etc, etc. Bring back the old school boot camp. Separate the males and females….bring back the WACs.

People have no idea how bad the military got with all the woke BS. This was a much needed speech. Of course they’re not gonna like it, but who cares it needs to be said and it needs to be changed.

If you filled a mobility position you had to be qualified annually on M-16.

Certain career fields had to do it quarterly.

I prefer your version because it's not rambling. Would you really be comfortable with a President saying he is the law?

Officers take an oath to defend THE CONSTITUTION specifically, not the president or even the country generally.

"All commissioned officers in the eight uniformed services of the United States swear or affirm an oath of office upon commissioning, which is distinct from the oath of enlistment taken by enlisted members.
This oath is mandated by statute, specifically Section 3331 of Title 5, United States Code.
The standard text of the oath is: "I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter".
The oath applies while the officer is in the office they are about to enter."

They were dodgers as well.

I love you simpletons who reduce everything to a binary black and white.

If you criticize the Trumpster, you must therefore endorse his opponent. In this case Trump is no better than Clinton or Biden.

Dislike of A does not mean that you embrace B....especially if A is nothing more than a variant of B

Speech was a precursor to the draft. If you want to see democrat heads roll enact the draft. Even conservative kids today would puss out over a draft. The youth today are some weak pussies!

This type of thread triggers the, “I voted for Trump, but this is too far” crowd.

Ya think?

Trump: "We should use some of these dangerous [US] cities as training grounds for our military.”

Hegseth: "We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement"

That's just fricking crazy talk.
