How the hell does the state of Oklahoma, of all places, not have an NFL football team in the first place?

Incredible when you think about it.

The most conservative state in the country loves football.

Oklahoma never got a shot at professional sports until 2005, when the Hornets needed a temporary home after Katrina.

Huge football state, huge state for pro wrestling in the 70s and 80s, no shot at a franchise in any major sport until a natural disaster made them look at OKC.

WTF does George Floyd have to do with this? Most native Americans don't give a flying shite about the name and don't think it should be changed. If Snyder cucks over this, I'm done with the Redskins (my favorite team since I was a kid) and that will seal the deal on the NFL for me.

Yep. And they killed their own and ate their own. See Mayans. Sub Saharans had slaves and sold slaves to Arab Muslims and then later to euros.

But MUH indigenous people are all saints!!

Snyder has held firm on the name despite various attempts to force a change, including the Obama administration attempting to invalidate their trademark over it being racist.

If they didn’t give into that, they likely wouldn’t give into this without Goodell either adding pressure or offering a major payoff.

Someone bring me up to speed on the Redskins location and stadium situation.

I was under the impression that before 97 they were playing in RFK in DC, and then moved to the new stadium that they currently call home. Am I right? Has RFK been renovated or something? I never heard anything about that. I have never seen teams move back into old stadiums like that.

because the narrative is, no one can be racist, slave holders, or colonizers, unless they are white.

They will bow and change the name...

Dan Snyder is a huge pain in Roger Goodell's arse. NFL has tried for years to get Snyder to change the name. He shows them the finger every time. Snyder will stay in Maryland, which reaps the rewards of DC'S total incompetence.

So the cattle drives would get to Fort Worth then go due North to the railhead at Wichita.

I don't know if Okla City existed before the cattle trail, but it clearly benefited from being almost directly on it

It would be a new stadium on the RFK site. Most likely though, Snyder would have a new stadium built somewhere in Northern Virginia.
