One of the funniest videos IMO was when they put Jack White in the same room as Jimmy Page and The Edge from U2. They were taking turns jamming each other's popular tunes then it was time to play Jack's one single hit which is very simple, especially for Page and The Edge

Jack White doesn’t play top 40 type music. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a top guitar player.

I've listened to his stuff. It is not technical at all but rather overly simplistic, especially by comparison to the two people he was in that film with. I never got the hype over him being called a great guitar player. I don't think he is even anywhere near the top 50 much less the greatest of his era as Fun Bunch is claiming he is.

You are entitled to your opinion. But he is ranked a top 10 guitarist of the past decade by magazines like Guitar World and every other trade magazine / website.
Jimmy Page doesn’t make many public appearances. Do you think he would agree to do a shitty guitar player?
Just do a Google search for top 10 guitar players last decade.
