Jack White is your age. He's not emo or only popular with college kids.
Get out a little.
He is considered Alt/Indie and sounds like a smashing Pumpkins rip off. I never liked them either

He lives in Nashville too I think, and I know Nash is more liberal than the rest of Tennessee, but he has to be surrounded by Red State people constantly. You'd think he would be a little more understanding of different view points. Guess not
Eh, it could go either way. If you start with say moderately conservative views and you live in a blue area where all of your idiot neighbors are howling on Facebook all day about the latest micro aggression, you’re going to drift farther right. Likewise a lib living in a state where all their neighbors are constantly posting about Hunter Biden and black criminality is going to drift farther left. Add to that him being a musician and a celebrity and the biases those types seem to have.
The real question is why does anyone give a shite what Jack White thinks? Also, and this is neither here nor there , but with the exception of Rogan who is a democratic socialist, he just named a bunch of well known republican celebrities. How is it “normalization” when a bunch of people show support for a candidate everyone already knew they supported?

I can't tell if you've never heard Jack White or never heard Smashing Pumpkins.

He hasn't had a good album in almost 20 years. His last critically acclaimed album was in 2007. That's literally the definition of washed up, and I am admittedly a fan of his work with White Stripes and the Raconteurs.
He's absolutely washed. But that's okay, he still made good music almost 2 decades ago.

He won a Grammy in both 2015 and 2016.

You have a reading problem. I said his last critically acclaimed ALBUM was nearly 2 decades ago. Winning best performance and best limited edition boxed set is not indicative of putting out good albums consistently.
You're an actual moron.

Now do Ted Nugent.

I don't listen to Ted Nugent. I don't think I could name one song. I also don't think anyone in this thread is comparing Ted Nugent to Jack White. Jack white is clearly more talented and made better music. It doesn't mean he's not washed out.
