For the first time in my adult life, I may skip the midterms.

Louisiana is gonna send Rs back to Congress, so what I have to say on the topic really won’t matter. Plus the Rs we will send, are pointless.

I’ll probably vote in the state elections.

I won’t vote for a Democrat- bc they are communists. But, seriously. The GOPe, and yes, Trump have basically ignored everything that sent them there. It makes me so sad bc 2024 was so much fun. It was great. The first 90 days were amazing. And now. fricking nothing.

I just cannot endorse any of this.

I certainly am not going to be lectured by a bunch of Bushes in Sheep Clothing about how I have to continue to vote for this Blob or . . . The Terroists Win or the Communists win or whatever. Even if it’s Lindsay Graham’s sister wearing a MAGA hat.

Those bastards have already won.

I’m so blackpilled.

What are our options? And any suggestions?

I hear you. I'm not even sure my vote matters. If not outright fraud changing it, its some freebie recipient cancelling me out.

I would rather elect a Republican who does nothing than electing a Democrat who will do something!

Tell me about it. My choice for U.S. senator is a Muslim communist who supports transitioning children and a GOPe/MIC/surveillance state stooge.

Egg prices down! Yeah let’s forget about unnecessarily high gasoline prices because of a pointless war in Iran.

There has been some success. Probably not as much as anyone had hoped for or perhaps predicted, but things have changed.

This is a broader issue though. We did not suddenly wake up and found ourselves in this position. The liberals/progressives/Democrats/socialists/etc. spent decades moving us to this point. They never gave up because they didn't get everything they wanted in a 2-year timeframe. I don't think we should either. Win little battles and keep pressing.

What some learn, correctly, is that none of it matters.

I got there in 2020 and the remainder of the COVID times. You may prefer the Rs, but what you realize is they don't give anymore of a shite about you than the Ds. The LA GOP, the EBRP GOP, the ___ GOP, the GOP are horrible.

Any non-DEM who doesn't support the DEMs should be pretty happy, all things considered, heading into 2026. Outside of the Iran fiasco, it's about as good as could be reasonably expected.

1. Trump has continued to borrow from our future to push out insane deficit spending to kick the can. This has kept the economy running and not facing the reckoning that keeps growing with every kick of the can.

2. The DEMs haven't gotten their head out of their asses and have devolved in hyper-urban areas.

What the demoralized want is unicorn farts from their fantasy-land delusions about what MAGA means and how much MAGA as a concept is supported nationally. That's INCREDIBLY silly stuff.

It is true that La. has very few close elections for Congress. However, I always vote for 2 reasons:
a. The station is on my way home and there is never a line. Takes 3 minutes to vote. b. Every once in a while there is a tax proposal that was not advertised (on purpose) and I vote against it.

I will end Ukraine on Day One.
No more endless foreign wars.
I will end deficits and debt by the end of my second term.

Hope this helps.

Trump has closed the boarders.
Ended the woke/cancel bs.
Got Europe and Canada off the tit.

Just to get started.
I could go on and on.
