It's amazing to see that many of the nation's legislators do not understand the Constitution.

This thing Trump is doing with the security clearances should be defended by all his supporters as one of the most direct things thst can be done to “drain the swamp.”

This whole 1st amendment argument is just beyond me.....

How do these people really try to justify this as a violation of his first amendment rights? Did I miss where Trump said he’s going to revoke his clearance and throw him in jail for talking mean about Trump?

These same idiots think employees have a first amendment right.....it’s crazy to me

I'll say it again, if a security clearance is a 1st Amendment right, we ALL are supposed to have a security clearance. I dunno about you guys but I don't have a security clearance, thus if it's a 1st Amendment right, I am 45 years past due one and I want mine.

I think the legislators know at least THAT much of the Constitution...but when it comes to the unmitigated zealotry to obtain and keep power that many of them have, it is better said they don't care about the Constitution.

If you are no longer in that job or assisting someone who is, I see no reason to have the clearance, period.

At my place of work, if you leave your passwords and access badge are automatically revoked. It should be automatic at Fedgov as well.

This. Why does anyone who is not currently in the position need this clearance? It blows my mind that there is never any justification for why Brennan and others still have their clearance, just the nonsense first amendment crap.

This issue has absolutely nothing to do with free speech. Zero.

It was Brennan's meal-ticket to leak to NBC and the MSM.

Not when you realize how many of the people who vote for them don't either.

I would spend pay-per-view level money to watch John Brennan and Jim Acosta in an Andre the Giant vs Big John Studd type of match where whoever can press slam the other's ego first wins.

Trump doesn’t have to worry.
His actions aren’t arbitrary.
