that's a different part of the scheme, but also likely Russian in origin. what would create bigger disinformation than making 25% (or so) of the population believe that Trump was working with Russia?
HRC's campaign paid for a shady report that Russia used to spread disinformation. before we knew it was being used to illegally spy on his campaign, details were being spread around the connected media. even they thought it was bunk and it took an outlier outlet to public those details

Yes. The FBI interviewed one of Steele's Russian sources in January 2017 and he basically said everything was bullshite
Now, keep in mind TigerDoc that this was BEFORE the FBI applied for the 3rd and 4th FISA warrants against Page. They knowingly knew the information wasn't true and was disinformation
This fact isn't in dispute anymore
Also, Steele spoke with Kavalek from the State department where Steele says his sources were known Russian disinformation specialists
Keep in mind that the FBI knew this BEFORE applying for the FIRST FISA warrant

It seems pretty clear that:
1.) The Russians interfered with the 2016 elections.
and
2.) Trump wasn't complicit in that interference.
