Wanted to check with the left: Are guns still bad?

Just wondering, because ever since the assassin killed that CEO there has been no mention of guns being the problem or the access to guns, let alone the fact he used an illegal silencer.

Cold blooded murder is still wrong.
Doesn’t matter if it’s school children or a health insurance CEO.
And it’s still not the gun’s fault, and the silencer didn’t make the murder any easier, but the silence from the left is noticeable.
Another angle on this: if I’m trying to conceal a gun for criminal purposes, having a silencer makes that more difficult, not less.

Yeah, murdering this guy was a bad thing.
This guy had a wife and 2 kids. I don't like the way he made his money more than anyone else, but shooting him in the street is not a good thing.

Do we know what kind of weapon the killer used? I haven't seen it mentioned. At first glance it looked to me like a full size with a suppressor on it, but it had a bit of an odd look to it.
