Want to know why conservatives are losers?

Look no further than the “I’m pro-life, but ___” crowd today. Conservatives are so beaten down, they’re flat out uncomfortable with a clean win. Battered Wife Syndrome.
“I’m pro life!”
“I’m pro life!”
“I’m pro life!”
“What’s that? A clean bill banning abortions? Yikes. That makes me uncomfortable. I hope we don’t look bad to the Leftists.”
This Alabama bill is exactly what we need. If you call yourself “pro-life”, but you can’t find the balls to defend a bill protecting the sanctity of life in the womb, kindly make your way to the sidelines and grab some pom poms. You’re useless on the field. That’s all.

I’ve held the hand of a 12 year old girl who was raped by her mothers boyfriend. That scared 12 year old girl carried the baby to term and we adopted that baby.
I don’t disagree that Christians need to step up, but some of us have.

And if you could guarantee this would be the outcome 100%...or hell even 50% of the time...I might agree to it.
But in the real world your example is very, very rare. I prefer to give the woman the option.

Americans with means, are forced to adopt kids from Southeast Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe, because they cannot get a healthy baby here.
There are more couples looking to adopt, than there are babies available for adoption, yet we abort how many millions every year?

I’m on the fence with this. I don’t agree with abortion as a way to cover up irresponsibility. A mother having to give birth to a child conceived during rape is screwed up, even if the baby is adopted to a good home.
