First off, I don't KNOW the temperature of the water but it is probably relatively cold water. It is most definitely not like the warm water of Aruba or southern LA.
When a person falls into cold or even cool water the body's reaction is to gasp/breathe in and then to hyperventilate. I recall from my Lifeboat training being taught that if you jump or fall into cool or cold water to take as deep a breath as you can while falling to keep from aspirating water due to this phenomena.
If you breathe in water you start behind the eight ball NO MATTER how strong a swimmer you are. Trying to cough out the water while hyperventilating AND trying to keep your head above water is next to but not quite impossible.
I work over water at a port and wear a Mustang 38 mae west because I understand the dangers of being on the water.Dangers even many experienced watermen fail to respect.
Then the day and time makes me wonder if the victim had been drinking, even one or two drinks drastically changes ones chances of surviving an accident on the water.
I feel bad for the victim and his family/friends, had he been wearing ANY PDF he'd be alive unless it turns out he had a massive heart attack or some other medical emergency.

Paddleboarding without a life vest is basically suicidal if one cannot swim. It's very odd to me. The conspiracy theorist in me noted the Trump indictment happened immediately after the UFO whistleblower Grusch had his day. I immediately thought this corpse in Obama's pond was intended to take attention away from the House hearing tomorrow but it's crickets on Drudge.

Interesting how the stories always come out one bit at a time rather than release all at once. Just seems like this parsing out is because they have to concoct it little by little.
The drugs were found in multiple places; library, fist then was it in the Sit room and then oh, no, it was found in the cubby hole where all kinds of people enter, then it was near the VP's entrance?
So juvenile and so tiring.
