You and I (and everyone who doesn't intentionally ignore common sense) knows Walz and Ellison knew about fraud in general, and probably benefited from kickbacks / donations. And it wouldn't be surprising if they knew Bock's operation was fraudulent.
Legally, regrettably, her saying they knew won't move the needle with regards to prosecuting them... unless there are some emails or tangible evidence of direct involvement. Otherwise, they'll just blame some clerk /agency for approving the fraud and play dumb, which comes naturally to them.

Kind of dumb of you to think her saying, "I struggle to believe [Walz and Ellison didn't know]" to a reporter would have any impact on her staying out of jail.
If that was truly her goal, she and her attorneys would've been meeting with prosecutors in private with any evidence she had against Walz and Ellison. Talking to Fox News is irrelevant.
