No sir. Delaware gun laws do not restrict purchasing of firearms, this includes rifles, shotguns, and handguns. You must be at least 18 to be able to purchase rifles and shotguns; 21 for handguns.

CHAPTER 38. LOUISIANA COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS
§2231. Statement of purpose; limitation on prohibitions against discrimination because of age
A. It is the purpose and intent of the legislature by this enactment to provide for execution within Louisiana of the policies embodied in the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, 1968, and 1972 and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended; and to assure that Louisiana has appropriate legislation prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations sufficient to justify the deferral of cases by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the executive director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission, and the Department of Justice under those statutes; to safeguard all individuals within the state from discrimination because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, disability, or national origin in connection with employment and in connection with public accommodations; to protect their interest in personal dignity and freedom from humiliation; to make available to the state their full productive capacities in employment; to secure the state against domestic strife and unrest which would menace its democratic institutions; to preserve the public safety, health, and general welfare; and to further the interest, rights, and privileges within the state.
B. The prohibitions in this Chapter against discrimination because of age in connection with public accommodations shall be limited to individuals who are at least forty years of age.
C. The Louisiana Commission on Human Rights shall have enforcement powers including adjudication of claims of discrimination prohibited by Chapter 3-A of Title 23 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, and pay discrimination prohibited by R.S. 23:664.
Acts 1988, No. 886, §1; Acts 1993, No. 820, §9; Acts 1997, No. 1409, §3, eff. Aug. 1, 1997; Acts 2008, No. 743, §7, eff. July 1, 2008; Acts 2014, No. 702, §2; Acts 2014, No. 756, §1.
and here is more from the Louisiana state constitution

§11. Right to Keep and Bear Arms
Section 11. The right of each citizen to keep and bear arms is fundamental and shall not be infringed. Any restriction on this right shall be subject to strict scrutiny.
Amended by Acts 2012, No. 874, §1, approved November 6, 2012, eff. December 10, 2012.
§12. Freedom from Discrimination
Section 12. In access to public areas, accommodations, and facilities, every person shall be free from discrimination based on race, religion, or national ancestry and from arbitrary, capricious, or unreasonable discrimination based on age, sex, or physical condition.
Most of the other states have them as well. So unless we pass and ratify a Constitutional amendment to undo the 2nd, or change the laws to allow age discrimination or the SCOTUS changes it's position. Wal-Mart et.al could be in big trouble.

Company policy. I have heard of bars (nightclubs) that didn’t allow people under 25 years old in. Didn’t want to deal with the youngsters. Get over it.

Not when it comes to state laws.
Posted on 3/3/18 at 8:22 pm to Jjdoc
I don’t think any states have a 25 year old minimum age. I can tell you that I have heard of nightclubs having a 25 year old admittance policy.

You have been given actual laws on this thread.

If it's in place as a "Senior Citizen Discount" wouldn't it be discrimination to sell it to any one else?
It's discrimination to only sell it to seniors at that price. We can't really have much of a discussion about discrimination of you don't know what the word means.

Ok. I see. It is posted on the internet, so it is true. You believe everything you read? You are goofy. It was 1995 that Louisiana raised the drinking age. I read otherwise on a so called “document” that it was in the 80’s. People make data entry errors. I guess you are one of the “wiki” believers. I am telling you that some night clubs have had 25 year old admittance policies. You don’t have to believe it.

This is nonsense.

big trouble, eh? You make me laugh. I would imagine their lawyers would be able to settle any minor difficulties they may encounter. Big trouble as in what? Seriously laughing.

Lawsuits are like turds. Everybody can make them but they aren't all good. Nothing will happen even though the decision is shite. Hey, that's a shite circle.
Posted on 3/3/18 at 9:56 pm to coonasswhodat
I am talking about gun laws and age discrimination. Don't give 2 shites about a club.

They might suffer the same fate as Delta and lose tax breaks. Arkansas has similar laws as Louisiana and the population has a similar stance on guns as Louisiana, and Arkansas just gave or is in the process of giving WalMart the biggest tax break in state history, but I will admit that is unlikely since Wal Mart is so big in Arkansas. However, WalMart receives a lot of other subsidies from various state and local governments and a lot of those are in red states. So WalMart could still lose bigly even if it's lawyers settle.

They lose their tax breaks they fold shop. Have you noticed how the landscape is full of empty shopping centers? Do you think the owner of that property is going to willingly let local govt run off his main tenant?

I'm still pissed off that the government fricking destroyed the Christian bakers.
As far as I know, the police didn't even do shite to protect them from the non-stop harassment. They were being attacked at home, at work. Death threats aimed at them and their family.
Government is only a badass against small Christian businesses or conservative groups.
They will not do shite to walmart or krogers. Any lawsuit for possible age discrimination will most likely be dismissed.

Out west Kroger operates under the Fred Meyer brand after a merge a couple decades ago. They are like a full super wal-mart, but with jewellers and shite.

I’m a fan of private businesses being able to do business with whom they choose. If these people really wanted to make a dent in gun crime they’d stop selling to black people.
I'd love to see the backlash in this

Should bakers be required to sell cakes to gay couples? Just curious of your position on that issue
With a background check?
Multilayer cake?
Buttercream icing or whipped topping?
Cupcakes, maybe, but a multilayered, fully frosted cake, I’m not sure.

You are exactly right and there is no consistency.
In certain identical cases, it's ok to deprive Christians of religious freedoms in busnisess while allowing Muslims to not only have religious freedom, but win lawsuits against companies violating them.
Gays and minorities are also treated differently than Christians in these matters.
