Votes on AG Barr Confirmation

Three Democrats joined all but two Republicans in voting for Barr confirmation:
- Jones, D-AL
- Manchin, D-WV
- Sinema, D-AZ
One Republican voted against Barr: Rand Paul
One Republican not voting: Senato Burr
I think Sinema is going to be very interesting to watch in the Senate. She already threw a vote for a Trump judge that got the left wired yesterday. She comes back today and votes to confirm Barr.

Manchin is able to get reelected. There is no way Jones is getting reelected. The only reason Jones is even in the seat is because of Moore.

I don’t think there is really anything Jones can do to save his job except become Republican and that won’t work with his position on abortion. I’d be lining up a lobbyist job and making connections over the next 18-20 months.
