Republicans just plain suck at teamwork.

There’s a lot more honest republicans that do what they think is right rather than do what the party tells them to do. It’s an admirable quality

You don't make promises you cannot keep. Mc Carthy lied to get the speakership.

Now he pays the price, about time someone paid for something.

Do you apply the same standards when a candidate promises to repeal and replace Obama care? Or promise to build a wall the Mexico pays for?

Or is that differen(T)?

The caucus clearly disagrees.

They're engaging in political grandstanding.

Their moral compass is as flimsy as KM's. They're all just acting like pols.

McCarthy only got the speakership because he agreed to this pact with his detractors. He knew and knows that he had to do more than just talk to keep his coalition together.

KM gambled they didn't have the power to do anything about it. We'll see if they do, today or tomorrow.

Of course they are. Politicians engage in politics. That's their game.

McCarthy should have probably weighed how smart it was to send surrogates out daring Gaetz to do this and poking him in the eye for not doing it while Gaetz was blustering about it.

He made Gaetz nut up or shut up. Now we get to see if Gaetz has any power or just talk.

Was that the vote to remove the speaker?

Most of the Dems screamed No.
