Lol. How do you figure? What group of repubs are going to vote for HJ and ruin themselves in their districts? The Biden districts that they sit in? They'll be primaries for being former repubs and replaced by a leftist.

The entire GOP House will have decided on a candidate by late Tuesday and will be voted at either unanimous or close to it on Wednesday.

It'll probably be Scalise...

The guy a murderous leftist tried to kill and shot him.

People are idiots. Dem's would have to convince a few Repubs to vote for their guy (or gal, or tranny)

Anyone remember OMLandshark's theory that Trump would become speaker of the House,, Biden would die, and (I forget what) would happen to Kamala, leading to Trump being president?

Maybe it'll happen?

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene???? @RepMTG

The only candidate for Speaker I am currently supporting is President Donald J. Trump. He will end the war in Ukraine. He will secure the border. He will end the politically weaponized government. He will make America energy independent again.

He will pass my bill to stop transgender surgeries on kids and keep men out of women’s sports. He will support our military and police. And so much more! He has a proven 4 year record as President of the United States of America. He received a record number of Republican votes of any Republican Presidential candidate!

We can make him Speaker and then elect him President!

He will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

I’ll give Gaetz credit for keeping his word. But who on earth is going to replace McCarthy that will be viewed as an improvement by Gaetz and Co? My gut is that the devil we knew was better than the devil we don’t. How long until that Speaker (assuming it’s an R) gets the same treatment? Where does it end?

It ends when Republicans finally find a leader that is as tough as and fights like Pelosi…uncompromising, unapologetic, frick you mentality, wins at any cost.

Apologists from the right are infuriating. I suspect a lot of them want to be elected more than they have conservative principles. I don't want you to work together, especially to spend more money.

Like the great Ronnie said, "We win, they lose." Nothing that the left has done for almost 100 years has been positive for the country, there is no reason to compromise.

Tell me how this works because I don’t know, how can someone that hasn’t been elected even be considered for Speaker of the House?
