Because he's not white. Some on here like OP think minorities are beneath them and shouldn't hold leadership roles in the US at any level.

Thankfully Ohio is more worried about a dem governor.
Both Obama and Trump won Ohio because they spoke about protecting American jobs. I just don’t see how a Republican who puts down white American workers and calls them lazy, while advocating for H1B visas, can win, much less in a Rust Belt state.

Ohio has republican supermajorities in both houses. This bitch might be as crazy as Spanberger but the damage will be minimal and can be undone by the next Republican governor.
How the frick do rust belt Republicans select an H1B advocate as their candidate? And national-level Republicans won't be able to figure out how a state that Trump won by 10 points and hasn't had a Democrat elected as governor in 20 years was lost.

Tressel was being setup as R candidate, but that changed.
So, I imagine that a backroom deal with the DeWeiner/Rino branch & Trumpworld in Ohio got us this guy.
Still better than F'ing Dr. Amy Acton. F that bitch.

I think we should definitely listen to the democrat on who we should elect.
Imagine getting your opinions from a groyper, cringe.

If the GOP is allowing this now, where will we be in ten years? Enough is enough

Why should Ohio republicans vote for a democrat who disagrees with them 100% of the time over a Republican who agrees with them 80% of the time? Let’s not let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
There’s nothing wrong with supporting one GOP candidate over another in a primary. It’s a very different story when it comes to a general vs a democratic candidate. Voting for a democrat is just cutting off your nose to spite your face.

What you do is you show up in the goddamn primaries and nominate conservatives. You show up at PEC elections, run for state central committees, etc. You can change the GOP by showing up all along the way for the process that determines who wins that nomination.
Now, if there’s a better third party candidate, vote your conscience. Be my guest. However, supporting a democrat over even a crappy republican for federal office in 2026 is essentially sepoku. The democrat isn’t going to give you better border security than Vivek, they’re going to be worse. Even on the issues you clash with Vivek, the democrat will be much much worse.

Kinda tough for R's in Ohio when the state GOP endorsed Vivek and froze out any legit rivals

The state GOP even tried to keep Putsch off the ballot as late as February by saying he didn’t have the required amount of signatures.

Dems will win both the governor and Senate seats. Vivek will drag down Husted.

If you pull this stunt more and more all you do is demoralize your voting base
