Don't get them started on numerology either.

I've seen these people kill multimillion dollar deals that both sides have spent months and tens/hundreds of thousands working on because the head indian wasn't able to sign the document at a specific time on a specific date. It's fricking nuts.

Names. That's your #1.

If he’s assimilating, why not name the kid Savannah instead of Savithri? This fraud calls himself a nationalist and you people eat it up.

Yet, every time us moderate republicans call out the awful candidates we are pushing out there, we get down voted.

You're worried about names. There is no substantive response that will be reasonable to someone as unreasonable as you. Enjoy your outrage.

Poor take. Shkreli is the son of a Albanian janitor. He went to basically a community college and is completely self educated. He's worth nine figures. He has also built multiple successful companies. One of the drug companies he founded is now worth over 5B

He also went to federal prison during Trump's first term for securities fraud after a jury of his peers found him guilty.

Not sure what being the son of an albanian janitor or going to community college has to do with anything.

He was ousted and sued by said company over 11 years ago and they stopped making the drugs/treatments that Shkreli was involved with 6 years ago. That company's product offering have zero relation to Shkreli and the company's value has grown by 700% since it kicked him out.

Except for when he advocated for mass vaccination and national registries.

The mass vaccine and what not isn't true. He didn't push for government mandates or anything like that.

The national registry thing he pushed was for getting rid of the shutdown. I can see the gripe with it, but it did account for natural immunity, not a vaccine tracker. And I think it was a commercial thing (for his own company) rather than a government thing.

This is what you want him to be. His own words tell a different story. You ignore them when they don’t fit the image of him you’ve crafted.

Nah, I know it when I see it.

His mother is a radical leftist and his father refuses to become a citizen. Again, these are things you pretend he is. The question is why?

Don't know about all this, but he has obviously assimilated.

quote:

He’s not right philosophically. He’s yet another first generation anchor baby denigrating America and its citizens. This time for the purpose of replacing American standards with third worlders willing to accept a diminished standard of living in the name of profitability.

No, he was right.

And it's because of public education. You can pretend we have a smart population because it makes you feel better if you want, but I see what is being pushed out these days and has been pushed out for the past 20+ years.

Beyond that, I have absolutely no issue with people who can contribute being allowed to immigrate here so long as they come for the purpose of having liberty/freedom and that they will assimilate in the process. That requirement is more than I see from the average citizen.

The timing is poor because of all the illegals and such we have right now, taking up housing and all that. Added to that is the corruption of companies just using it as cheap labor rather, and then assimilation isn't even important, it's about the bottom lines for the companies.

So philosophically I'm all in favor of it. But it's shite timing and not being carried out properly as is, and for that reason I don't welcome an increase in it. I do welcome an increase in the quality and the requirements of those coming.

To me you are inadvertently applying the same faults as DEI when frame things the way you are. If you are viewing them as all the same and qualifying or disqualifying on that, then it's just another form of DEI.

he supported a registry. That’s all there is to it

they come to make money and if we’re lucky, not send too much of it back.

Again, no. There is more to it. You're just wanting to cut off context so you can apply your own and pretend he was some nazi lib about it when that is incorrect.

How am I supposed to take you as a serious person when you are just dishonest right in my face about a very simple thing?

If they send the money overseas that means less inflation in the US because less money is hitting our markets.

Explain the firing of thousands of American workers who were subsequently replaced by H1B. He’s not right and neither are you.

They don’t assimilate. Neither their anchor baby children nor them.

No, I’m not. You’re operating under the same lie as Vivek that Americans are stupid, unqualified, and only third world immigrants possess the intelligence or skill to complete these tasks.

It’s a lie. It will always be a lie. You trying to frame hiring Americans to fill American jobs as the equivalent of DEI is absurd.

what more is there to it? It’s ok because he would profit? Cool. An Indian wanted to set up a national registry for Americans to segregate them.
