I don't see how it helps DJT or hurts him.

JD Vance pick would be more about teeing him up for 2028 and would be a magnificent way for Trump to punish DeSantis for challenging him.

The guy that ran well behind every other Ohio Republican statewide in 2022?

He was sort of an unknown quantity then. Are Ohioans still lukewarm to him or have more come around?

Vivek as VP prevents Trump from getting bumped off like JKF cause Vivek would therefore become president and he is probably more anti-government agencies than Trump is.

If you remember Vivek wants to get rid of 50-70% of all government agencies in DC.

JKF was bumped off so V.P.Johnson could rule and Reagan was almost bumped off so CIA man V.P.Bush could rule.

If Trump's V.P. is more conservative than thats a life insurance policy.

Not American. He needs to be 3 or 4 generations in, before he should be allowed to hold any public position.

Trump will need someone that will pull in more votes. I figure either a woman or a black. I don't know of any possible black women for VP. I don't think Vivek will pull in more votes. A Hispanic may even be an option.

He's a Trump want-to-be would not add additional votes on the ticket.

Trump's VP selection needs to be a younger, diverse person who is perceived to mitigate some of Trump's excesses (i.e., a hated "RINO" as compared to the 1970s Democrat at the top of the ticket).

Vivek would upstage Trump. Can't mess with the man's ego. It's the only thing he cherishes.

Vivek and others are hanging around for the chance to either be VP or, if trump is unable to be elected, be the nominee

With the clown social climate we have Identity politics sadly is very important. A woman that can tap into the female voter pull is the best ticket option. Vivek is the most qualified but that doesnt matter as much anymore.

That's true, but given that it was a Biden midterm, Biden was/is incredibly unpopular in Ohio, and Vance's opponent voted with Biden 100% of the time, winning by just 6 points was fricking awful. Vance was/is a bad candidate. Anyone who wasn't retarded with an "R" next to their name would've won by 10-12+ points. He underperformed every state-wide Republican by over 200k votes and underperformed Republican Congressional candidates by over 120k votes. Mike fricking DeWine signed an abortion ban and his opponent was a woman who made abortion the entire campaign and DeWine got over 60%.

That race was always going to have the weakest showing for a Republican because there wasn't an incumbent Republican running, but a mediocre candidate would've won by 10-12+, when everyone else won by 18-22 instead of just 6.
