You’re a fricking moron. I’m not interested in what you think. The poster I asked seems intelligent and I was curious about his thoughts.

There is a real possibility the trump fanatics will have to consider. What if the left succeeds in preventing Trump from running? Now every time that question is asked, the sycophants lose their collective mind and start pissing all over the thread with "so i'm supposed to vote for DeSantis then" or "that's DeSantis' only chance to win". But, remove the emotion and consider it for a moment. The left will stop at NOTHING to prevent Trump from winning. They already crossed the Rubicon with the 2020 election. They've shown they will do whatever it takes. So with that knowledge, why is it impossible to consider that the left, in 2024, will again, do whatever it takes to keep Trump off the ballot? And if they are successful in doing so, what then? What action is next? Again, don't play the victim if it happens, what will happen in reality, if that goes down? The people won't revolt. A real insurrection will not occur. So outside of empty threats on the internet, what is the next step to prevent another Biden term?

You make a good point, but again..... what's the solution? Trump drop out because the situation you describe MIGHT happen?
Also, we don't know what would happen if that were to occur. Tensions are high. At some point, it will boil over. What causes it or when is anyone's guess.

Ronbots have completely splintered the party and are somehow proud of this. You were used by the left and seem to not care at all. Congrats I guess

Good thing that didn’t happen.

So you will vote for Trump? Good I hope so.

Displaced, Roger, TigerontheMountain, rmnldr, have all repeatedly said they will not vote for him. I’m glad you have some sense.

I won’t argue that there’s a very good chance that many won’t vote for Trump, but it’s not because “they’re going to take their ball and go home.” Which is an ironic sentiment, see how juvenile Trump is.
It’s more like they are repulsed by him, feel that he’s run a dishonest campaign, and want to purge the Party of him.

I’ve been clear about what I’ll do.

Over and over.

He has no shot at replacing those votes. His unfounded and baseless attacks on not only DeSantis but his family and supporters is yet another example of how reckless and shortsighted Trump is.

This isn’t 2016 and DeSantis supporters aren’t the Bush, Romney, and McCain supporters you pretend they are.

You voted for all three, I would add.

Are you more repulsed by Trump’s antics or what Biden and the democrats are doing to the country?

You didn’t answer my question. Do you agree that Trump can win without DeSantis supporters? Yes or no will suffice.

Well, I did answer your first question and thought that my answer was clear that I never heard anyone say that Desantis voters didn’t matter. Of course you matter. I don’t think anyone believes that a fractured Republican party has as good of a shot as a unified party.

Now answer my question, because it has been PLAINLY stated that many Desantis voters believe they do not need Trump voters.

Do you agree? A yes or no will suffice.

They should as they are dividing the conservative voters.

Desantis can’t even win his own state against trump, so obviously he has a better chance

Neither he nor Haley will likely be able to achieve wins in their home states.

Stop fricking lying. I have never said I won’t vote for him.

What I have said is that looking around at Trump supporters and listening to Trump’s words about his vision for a second term has made me consider that perhaps a collapse is a better option so that my children’s generation don’t have to deal with that.

They can try, but DeSantis has self control, and is not constantly giving his enemies ammo.

Tell me where I'm wrong. All this infighting on the right has just made Biden getting reelected that much easier. Ron was never going to be the guy this cycle. Yall carry the democrat water with every post.

I called this over a year ago. It was the only way they were going to keep the white house, and yall are playing your part perfectly for them

I would prefer personally they return populism to its rightful place, in the lap of Democratic Socialism.

MAGA heeds to stop trying to overthrow the Republican party and start their own. The conservative movement needs votes, but you people are sellouts.

No, I don’t believe that. I do believe that far more Trump supporters will sit at home and not vote than vote for DeSantis. We had a thread here with over 200 upvotes that was titled I will never vote DeSantis under any circumstances.
