I agree with everything you said. He deserved to be shot probably, but not in that manner. But like they say, you play stupid games you win stupid prizes.

He deserved to be shot. Each cop died from a distance after running. They have no idea how many rounds hit. How many times have you seen videos of people getting up and doing something after being shot.
It's crazy. You shoot until the threat is neutralized for sure. Not until you think he might be and then go up and check on him.
He made a lot of mistakes to get where he was. Each cop fired a number of rounds. None of them have any idea and all would think they fired less rounds than they actually had.
No problem with anything that happened.
