So any time someone breaks the law it might be ok for them to be shot and killed?

That MF ought to be hung in public....

PATRIOT LIVES MATTER!

You watch, the MSM will give this absolutely no coverage!
This is awful.

Climbing through the window of a door with people on the other side pointing guns is clearly a “win stupid prizes” moment.

I do agree with this.

I don’t think a regular citizen would have a chance in hell in this situation.

I don’t know. Ignoring orders to stay away and advancing towards you through a barricade may be enough of an attempt at de-escalation for a jury to let you walk...or at least it would be in a just world.

So a black cop shoots an unarmed white woman who easily could have been subdued with non lethal force and the media, celebrities, and sports figures stay silent.

Shocking.

That angle shows a different story than the one from yesterday. This one shows the woman jumping through the window, INTO the area of armed police pointing a gun at her. Come on, people. Take off your fricking orange-colored glasses and apply the same logic you (rightfully) apply to most other police shootings. If you do, you'll see that she was an immediate threat to that police office and whoever else was on the other side of those doors & windows.

I had this argument over and over last night and my rational side agrees. The problem is that this attempt to retain the moral high ground and conceding the ability for your opponent to act outside of the very rules you intend to follow is a recipe for continuing failure. We either all play by the same rules or we ought to stop playing, because allowing the left to determine which rules they’ll follow and which rules the right must follow is insanity.

For months we were talked at about police misconduct, bad shoots, brutality, and watched violence on a scale we’d never witnessed in American cities and not one live round was fired at rioters. This type of double standard is largely what we fueling the anger you saw yesterday. Giving in and allowing it con tune is not going to make anything better I’m afraid.

Indeed. She was on public property, paid for and maintained by HER tax dollars.

Try breaking in through a barricaded door in the White House and see how that goes for you.

I wouldn’t. And the “this board” is a pussy argument.

Nah. She’s fricked around found out.

So you would have shot her too? If so I hope you are not a cop. We don't need cops like that with itchy trigger fingers. We need cops that can practice a little more discernment.

The bigger question is, how in the frick are our Capitol police so weak that they allowed these people in the building in the first place? They stop them at the stairs and this doesn't happen.

The officer was off to the side and she was hit as soon as she got fully into the window. Add the loud mass chaos and the cop wearing a mask and I highly doubt she even heard or saw the person who shot her.

Secret Service agent did his job. They had barricaded the doors and he was protecting the VP and members of Congress. Secret Service doesn’t de-escalate. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Yeah. That’s not a defense either.

I’ve been told for years now by the media that unarmed people should never be shot, even when breaking the law.

I really think that was secret service. Pence still being somewhere in the vicinity is the explanation that makes the most sense.
