Yeah I watched the clip and it didn’t appear to be anything like the headlines, which are the same criticisms of what the Trump influencers say, almost verbatim.
so, I have to ask myself, why is Newsweek, the same magazine that had a cover that said “We Are All Socialists, Now” a few years again, run a piece that is a carbon copy of what the Trump campaign is alleging?

That works both ways. Trump will need DeSantis voters too, if he gets the nomination. So it isn’t wise to lie again and again about a conservative Governor with proven results.
There is a sizable portion of the the Republican party that is simply tired of Trump’s schtick. And he needs those voters too.

Not surprising when the tone from the top (himself and his team) is so impersonable. No one is going to give him the personality he needs to last very long in a presidential campaign. Good luck on the campaign trail, though.
