It is a shite hole not because it is 80% black, but rather it is a shithole because 80% of the population are the decendents of poor migrants with little to no education or wealth and everyone with education and wealth has left.

This really needs to be understood. Black people havent had access to higher education for even a hundred years yet. White people always have for the most part. The benefits of education are generational. To really help the black community they need to have access to good jobs for low education and proper schooling to help break the cycle. instead of herding them into a school together you would be better taking very small groups and surrounding them but much more highly educated children. The poor and uneducated, of any race, are products of their environment and parents who am have the inability to teach their children different

You think it can be the same thing that has made other cities like Detroit, New Orleans, Nashville or Jackson, shitholes?

Yea, one of these is not like the others. I will give you a few minutes to figure out which one.

I love Michelle's stand, but why does she and others have to be given something? THAT mentality is what's the killer.

Their culture glorifying violence and baby mommas while calling anyone who tries to do well in school an Uncle Tom hurts them worse than anything the white man does.

This is the problem with left wing rhetoric. They scream:

'It's totally inappropriate'
'It's un-presidential'
'It's beyond the pale'
'It's racist'

They never add: 'But, yes, it's true.'

My parents and their brothers and sisters were the first in our families to go to college after 200 years in this country.

The people in Detroit have had access to free education for several decades. That’s not why Detroit is a shithole. The blacks left behind in Detroit as white flight occurred have had multiple generations of free education at their fingertips. I would argue the bigger issue is the group of people leaving the delta that flocked to Detroit have not self-governed effectively and as a community do not build wealth. On average individuals there make life decisions that harm the community more than they make decisions that improve the community. This is not due to access to education. IQ is likely the largest factor. IQ is genetic more than environmental. Lower IQ communities show poor impulse control and turn into shitholes. When talking about Detroit and Baltimore, etc we should probably talk more about “IQ flight” instead of calling it “white flight”

No, their families just valued it when they got here because they saw it was a way out of poverty. Others choose not to.

And they accessed higher education. My point maybe should have been broader. Ow some couldn't go to it and other just wont. I agree with you on that

You found one person in Baltimore who will criticize Cummings. Wow. Let me see if I can't find someone critical of Trump in the US.
