Old footage. Interesting observation from my son who is a crewman on a different rotary platform:

Most FNGs shoot too short of bursts when learning the weapon system. Their weapon shoots 6,000 rounds of .308 a minute and even though the FNGs are told to hold the trigger for a 4-5 second burst, the gun is so violent most release after 1 or 2 seconds, often leading to jams in training. Until they get used to the violence of that weapon they cannot be BMQ let alone FMQ.


We as a country have same bad arse gear being worked by some bad arse men.
