Not really. The fallacy of it being a building built by tax dollars so I can come and go as I please exists for the Capitol just as it does for military equipment or military sites or the White House or any other federal building.
Funny that you use the word fallacy. If all things built by tax dollars were created equally, I suppose we should stay of the roads as well.

What a polarizing figure she is (was). Half of you guys want to put up a statue of her, and the other half think she isn’t even really dead. Y’all need to thunder dome this. You’re too far apart.
I think most agree it is strange that she was the only person that died in what has been described by our nation’s political leaders as on par with Pearl Harbor and 9/11
You couldn’t call it deadly without someone dying, and it was one of the aggressors?
Antifa and Feds were present, others were mostly let in and left when asked to, cops killings themselves, politicians and media comparing to the most deadly attacks on our country ever…
The story is really weird. I know it’s hard because it happened on Capitol Hill, but drop the politics for one second. If you don’t agree it’s weird you are either not thinking critically or just not paying attention. Either way, I think it is very clear that we are not being given all of the information.

Rod Serling would have chucked this bizzaro-world script into the trash. (OR WOULD HE??)

How'd you feel about Travonn Martin, Michael Brown, George Floyd, and dozens of other more egregious incidents about really serious "stupid shite" by the 'victim.' ???

Was she a legitimate threat to anyone? Probably not.
Do I feel bad that she got shot while doing something incomprehensibly stupid? Not even a little bit.
She played a stupid game and won a stupid fricking prize.

Michael Brown and George Floyd were also both committing crimes when they got killed and I feel no sympathy for either.
Trayvon Martin was a kid that had dipshit pull a gun on him and then took self defense too far. I think a little sympathy for him is warranted because he didn’t start the shite that led to him getting killed.

Michael Brown
Tried to take a gun from a police officer and got killed for it. That was genuine self-defense and a good shoot.
quote:
George Floyd
George Floyd was indeed committing a crime but if you feel like a $20 counterfeit bill justifies his death, then you are just a blood thirsty psychopath. That all being said, it's more likely that the lethal doses of Fentanyl found in George Floyd's system is what killed him and not the knee on the side of the neck.
quote:
Trayvon Martin
Initiated the confrontation that ended up costing him his life. All he had to do was keep going home. Instead he swung back around and tried to ambush Zimmerman. Zimmerman was an overzealous wanna-be rent-a-cop but Martin should have just run for home rather than confront him and attempt to take Zimmerman's gun.
And this leads us to Ashli Babbitt. The woman was trespassing on federal property - at worst a misdemeanor. She also wasn't armed and was given no warning by the police to stand down before being shot in the chest. You're telling me you are perfectly okay with the police shooting dead random citizens for committing petty crimes that normally would result in less than six months in jail?

Roger believes whatever the zeitgeist tells him to. He has no moral compass or standards of his own.

We know what the Gaslight Media narrative would’ve been if the script were flipped 180 degrees.

No, I just don’t feel any sympathy for people who get shot doing dumb things that one could reasonably conclude might lead to them getting shot.
If I try to climb through a window and into a restricted at the US Capitol, I recognize that I’m putting myself into a position to be injured or killed. This is ESPECIALLY true if multiple people already have guns drawn in my sight line.

How could one reasonably conclude this when only one round was fired out of a police officer's gun that day? If multiple police officers had discharged their fire arms that day, you might have a point.

But this wasn't true at all. The only police officer who had his gun drawn in that area was Byrd and he was standing off to the left, underneath a door frame, out of her line of sight. She never saw who shot her.
