Their exports to us are in kind cheaper for us, which saves us the money that allows us to fund those higher end portions of our economy that keep us richer than those countries in perpetuity.
Muchless are they going to understand that our debt pays in dollars, and if people stop using USD our debt goes *kapow*.
I just hope Trump doesn’t tell them “sovereign default is a good thing”.
