Unbelievable, the "celebratory tone" outside of the courthouse. Boy they really got a viscous axe murderer off the streets. I can't help but question the level of intellect that would (or would not) go into the thought process leading to that.

Held civilly liable for making an unconscious and unintentional mistake against a violent criminal with no legal authorization to drive and outstanding warrants while trying to flee with officers in the car.

Fricking up isn’t always a crime. Held liable by losing her job and Civil penalties.

It isn’t what anybody “wants”. The law in this case didn’t support a guilty verdict. The jury did what they wanted and ignored the law and the deliberations.

Unlike normal citizens..an officers job is to interact with the lowest and most harmful members of society.

Don’t think first degree manslaughter was appropriate for this case.
Can someone explain what is in play here?

The 1st degree is due to committing the crime of something like reckless handling of a weapon that is discharged and someone dies, is that correct or am I off base there?

They’re going to take a massive victor lap on this even though it’s reprehensible. The past year as been a referendum on the total rejection of their policies in government, ideology in entertainment, and ideas of justice in the court room. They’ve largely retreated from this board in shame and defeat. They’re already crawling out of their holes.

Yea the Left is mourning Daunte Wright, who shot a childhood friend in the head, carjacked a man and shot him in the leg and beat his face to a pulp, and robbed a woman at gunpoint and choked her.

I am sure he is chilling with their other saviors Saint George and Saint Rosenbaum

Handle it in civil court; this case did not meet the standard of recklessness.

Get her for wrongful death and get your cash. Move on.

They got what they wanted out of that. Use self-defense against people with a certain ideology and we'll charge you, try to imprison you for life and ruin you.

They system is fricked up that cops are fishing using paperwork violations.

If we didn't live in an authoritarian police state none of this happens.

So many "criminals" have committed crimes with no victims. Not saying this guy didn't commit any actual crimes with victims, but if he did he should have been held accountable for them then and not at a BS traffic stop.

You’re spot on. If my son was a policeman I’d tell him to find something else to do or I’ll take him out of the will. As twisted as it sounds I love him that much. Let these communities get eaten the frick alive by the thugs

Potter made a horrific, horrible mistake, in the heat of the moment.

And according to MN law, she is guilty of what she is charged of.

Her actions were reckless. They might not have been intentional, but that's not required.

Don't like it? Fight to change the law.

The law and the facts showed Rittenhouse should never have been charged. The law and the facts show Potter should have been.

When do we talk about this?
