It’s comical how unoriginal this is. Of course it’s Velma, because she’s a huge dorky nerdy girl. Leftists are so stereospecific. They are the ones who are stuck on identities, colors of people, classes.

Next Disney is going to tell us the bulky and strong sister in encanto is a lesbian. Again, no surprises there. Calling it now.

I guess I am just old... I didn't know what a lesbian was when I was watching Scooby Doo...

Why does she have to be Lesbian. Why not Tombiyish and let the person watching just figure it out for them selves. Not understanding why everything has to be named or branded.

In another review, they say there's a line from Daphne to Velma "I didn't know convicted felons were your type" to drive home the message (Coco is a felon in the storyline).

Literally nothing is sacred anymore. Little kids watch this stuff, 4,5,6 year olds. This isn't a young-adult or early adolescent age group these movies target.

All the fan canon about Fred being gay over the years, I'm surprised they went with Velma.

Yeah. Not even campy cartoons from the 60s that always had counter-cultural undercurrents. NOTHING!!!!

Those of us who watched Scooby Do in the 1970’s already knew this.
