This typically happens after you have major figures in your party leave after two terms, but there is going to be some soul searching when Trump is no longer running for office. JD Vance and Marco Rubio are just not as exciting as Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden weren’t as exciting as Barack Obama. Al Gore and John Kerry weren’t Bill Clinton. The coalition that won Trump the presidency is narrow and not ironclad. The good news is that Democrats don’t appear to have anyone that can generate enthusiasm.

The fact Erika Kirk gets death threats is infuriating to me. I hope the FBI or some law enforcement agency finds out who is behind this and then prosecutes them to the fullest extent of the law.
