Vaccine Passport - A Slippery Slope

Regardless of your current view, it seems certain that any liberties we cede to government aren’t likely to be given back.
If launched, this passport won’t “die” with Covid, what happens next? Do we get any shot the govt deems necessary? Where do our rights to our bodies stop lest we be deprived from society?

Eh, just like we see with tech companies, they govt will coordinate with public sector in order force their policies under the guise of "muh private businesses".

I'm with you but the hard truth is a vaccine is going to be required to travel to Norway, many European countries, Brazil, etc.. If you don't want or don't have to travel internationally then you have a choice.
I have to travel internationally so I got the vaccine. It isn't just the U.S. this is a global issue country by country and you most likely aren't getting around it. Just how it is.
If you have kids try to keep them from getting a TB shot, polio vaccine, or anything else the education system requires. Let me know how well it goes for you.

All part of their plan. They have already shut the economy down, stole the election, silenced opposition by shutting down their access to mainstream social media, enacted back door socialism with the massive "stimulus", and got all large corporations in line simply by threatening to call them "racist".

Yes there is. Not widely used in the U.S. but is widely used in India. There is a lot of speculation that this might be part of the reason the lethality of Covid in India is so low.
I probably should have picked a better example for the U.S. but my basic argument is that U.S. citizens don't really have a lot of say right now in getting a vaccine once it is required.

It's definitely prepping us for down the road.
Conservative states need to start fighting all of these things, and putting things in place to prevent things that took rights away. Otherwise it's done. TX is screwed if they don't do it this session. With so many people moving to TX the state needs to be proactive now or it's done.

Those are also vaccines that were tested at length before going to individuals. The covid vaccine is the world’s largest clinical trial. I have no problem taking the vaccine in 3-5 years if there aren’t any problems around the world, but I’m not signing up to be a guinea pig. Wish you good health and safe travels

Good thing I don't have any plans to visit those countries then. Not for another 10 years at the very least. By that time this shite will be a distant memory and no one will care if I have it.
