Every state sets its requirements for childhood vaccines and there are many exemptions, medical, religious, philosophical, etc, varying by state. Then there is the issue of private vs public schools.

Point is, it’s complicated and I don’t see how the federal government can mandate a vaccine, unless only to enter federal property and even then there will be exemptions.

It will probably end up being a state decision, just like for other vaccines.
