Romney did as well.

Incoming Senator Curtis would have voted against it had he been in the Senate already.

Does Lee have TDS too or could it be this which makes too much sense I know.

quote:

Utah, by its state constitution, is required to run a balanced budget, meaning it cannot legally operate with a deficit; it must always match its expenses with its revenue each year

That damn Lee and his TDS. He must be primaried now.

Utah eliminated DEI at the state level which led to the closing of the University of Utah’s LGBT resource center.

It’s one of the least gay states in the union but you shouldn’t let facts get in the way as usual.

Your defense of Lee includes a comparison to Romney? Talk about not being able to read a room.

Are you calling stating how they both voted a comparison?

Makes sense in crew world I suppose.

I also made no defense of Lee. I merely posted what could be a reason for the direction of his vote.

I know you people need someone to be angry at. It’s all good.

Such a juvenile gotcha thread. I thought you were better.

We knew how he was voting and why. Did you miss the thread that had this?

There was another thread saying the HFC and Rand libertarians have always tried to stop the firm and will always vote no.

Is it possible “no“ votes have nothing to do with Trump but a desire to spend at a level that does not increase the deficit?. Congress should make it a priority to drastically cut spending. Hopefully when this CR expires in March they will have developed a balanced budget. It is their job after all.

When individuals know their vote isn't needed, they are free to make meaningless grandstanding gestures when they feel like it.

It's like some of you people don't know anything about politics.

I love Trump and voted for him. I would have voted 'No' without hesitation. My allegiance isn't to The Donald; it's to the USA. Until someone starts taking real concrete steps to cutting spending - actual cuts, not slowing the rate of spending - then what's the point of winning elections?

Explain that to Eric John Barron.

I read Lee’s statement and I agree with him.

You are stupid.

Utah made DEI illegal just like Florida.

I don’t give a frick what John Curtis said. It doesn’t change the above fact.

Damn, Eric. What a stupid deflection. I know you can’t see that though.

I saw you did a typo in the other thread, fair enough. I was going to say, don't act like Bucky or Roge. Then I saw this thread not started for discussion, it has no link. It is a weak gotcha thread that applies to no one really.

Oh angelle.

It has a very specific point. Maybe you just don’t like the presentation.

And that’s fine.

I actually think you, of all of them, would agree with Lee on his statement.
