Lol. So you admit no one is stopping doctors from treating Covid 19 patients with HCQ. Good thread.

That makes any cure the enemy
Hospitals were going under before this are now prospering
That’s why doctors are talking negatively of Hydroxychloroquine
shite like this gives the rest of us conservatives on this board a bad name

Big money probably from Big Pharma is directing this narrative. “Follow the money trail.”

“I am a licensed physician in Utah. I tried to prescribe hydroxychloroquine but the pharmacist said the state had taken over the distribution of the drug. Even though I’m licensed, I cannot prescribe it. This is WRONG!” Dr. Bill said in a tweet.

You've been reduced to teeny-bopper word games. LOL

I assume he was writing a preventive script or a “malaria script” for travel for a patient who wanted to take it prophylactically. He may even have been setting up some quick corona practice to write prophylactic scripts for the scared public and this short circuited his scheme. Who knows? He didn’t say he tried to write a prescription for a sick coronavirus patient. So who’s playing word games?

This thread is 100% accurate. The highly respected Utah doc was refused the right to make the prescription he ordered because of a ruling and directive to pharmacists from a department that had no authority to do so.
Damn good chance, IMO, that a Big Pharma lobbyist pushed for this sleezy action.

Seems like the quoted doctor lacks reading comprehension, too. That doesn't bode well as to his competence.

never mind. I need more coffee. I just reread the whole quote and although a quirky mandate, it does indicate they are restricting its usage for Woohan Virus.

No prescription or medical order for hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine should be dispensed by a
pharmacist for a COVID-19 diagnosis unless all the following apply:
1. The prescription bears a written diagnosis from the prescriber consistent with the evidence for its
use.
2. The diagnosis has been confirmed by a positive test result which is documented on the
prescription or medical order.
3. The prescription is limited to no more than a seven (7) day supply.
4. No refills may be permitted unless a new prescription or medical order is furnished.
Given that it takes time to get test results, and that the effectiveness of the Hydroxychloriquine seems to be tied to how early you begin taking it, this order will have a very material negative consequence.

How long does it take to get test results?

Anybody here still claim that some of us overhype the existence of a Deep State? These bastards couldn't get Trump removed by using the Emoluments Clause, the 25th Amendment, Stormy Daniels, Trump/Russia, or the phony Ukrainian impeachment scam, so now they're hoping that a virus will kill as many people as possible and destroy the economy in the process so they can elect another Deep State puppet in November and carry on with their nefarious agenda.
The dumbest people here are the one's who STILL can't see this.

So your take is that the Utah State Commerce department is part of a deep state plot to take out Trump? That's what you're going on record with?

Are you so blind that you think this is an isolated case? The FDA has approved hydroxychloroquine, a drug already in existence, to be used in the treatment of the CV-19 virus. Surely you know this?
And yet, we've seen politicians and even some medical entities jump on board to fight the attempt to use hydroxychloroquine, even though it has shown promising results in limited testing.
Dude, you tell me why we're seeing the fight not to use this APPROVED DRUG?
