It is all good, only a small part of the Dems started the Civil War and George Wallace and other Dems like him were really Republicans in disguise to hurt the Dem party...

Also, Robert Byrd mistakenly joined the KKK thinking it was the CCP...

This is one of those facebook blockings that say not true because partially false.

I like the evolved part that is always allowed for dems.

Actually if you look at the Democratic Party now which pushes to supplement families of poverty with money verse skills to get jobs, destroyed public education which keeps the poor closer to being poor than the skills to stand on their own. And the brainwashing to think the government can supply everything which enslaves you to them because if you vote them out you will lose the free money, housing etc. Slavery still exist... instead of the plantation owners it’s to the government.

I mean there was a realignment, but BLM has told me that shouldn't matter. If someone did something racist in the past, they should be cancelled and punished for it. No matter how long ago it was. It also doesn't matter if they changed their opinion. Once a racist, always a racist.

It seems like they are making an attempt at explaining that those on both sides of the race issue switched parties mostly in the 20th century. Wasn't a great argument supported by evidence but more a fluff piece trying to make a point

The fact that there's no comments section to dispute the article tells me all I need to know.

Yeah it's odd how they approached this in general. Basically they are saying those that identified as Democrats had a hand in starting the civil war and KKK but not the party directly.

Useless article imo. Same as saying those in the KKK or whatever white supremacy groups today that may affiliate as Republicans doesn't mean the Republican party directly supports/maintain these groups. Common sense
