Speaking from first hand knowledge there are many ranch owners that will give up a small slice of their land for a wall. Tired of finding their ranch homes ransacked, equipment vandalized and items stolen. My uncle stopped bringing his wife and kids down there a long time ago

Spin spin spin. Compensating people for land when they didn't want to give up their land is authoritarian. You know this. You're just a disingenuous troll.

So it's $24 Million per mile. That sounds about right for this kind of project. Trump wants 1,000 miles of it in all.

Money well spent.

I have seen eminent domain on the local level. Many houses along with my wife’s family’s bar were bought out and torn down to build the houma twin bridges. There was no option not to sell out you were paid what they thought was fair....

There is not a damn thing a private land owner can do to stop a border wall if the Fed wants one.

I agree. There's not only not a thing you can do about it, there is nothing wrong with it.
Did they retain a part of it, or were they close enough to be on the entire building and ROW area?

I can’t think of better place to spend taxpayer money, we’ll actually get to see where our tax dollars are going.
