Just watch Narcos; Narcos: Mexico and El Chapo and imagine the judges, politicians and law enforcement agencies of this country as corrupted as those in Mexico.

while it is easy to blame Kav & ACB. Roberts ultimately rules what cases are to be heard. no one dares to buck Roberts.

That's not how it works. If Kav and ACB had joined Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch then not only would the cases have been heard, but likely have been ruled on in such a manner that the board appreciated.
Since everyone has already written off Roberts, the ire is directed the Trump appointees who failed to show as much spine as the Bush I & II appointed stalwarts.
