How does that point stand? We didn’t give shite to Ukraine in 2003 when this was valid and, today, the army has several thousands MRAP vehicles that have replaced the Humvee. Hell, it was largely replaced before we left Iraq in 2011. The military has a near $900 billion budget. If there’s any instances of lacking of hardware, it’s corruption in the pentagon or with the defense companies. Funding certainly isn’t the issue. Ukraine getting aid, largely in the form of expiring US stocks, is the least of any causes.

I also remember families of the servicemen sending them bullet proof vests during Desert Storm, because of the flack vests there were being issued over there.
