An abortion at 20 weeks isn't late term
If you take a kid home and realize you don't want it, just murder it. A 2 year old can't survive in the world on his own anyway.

I'm not his biggest fan, but amen to this, Mr. President. Whenever I hear the "it's my body" or "stop taking my rights" argument, I want to scream "it's not about taking anything from you, it's protecting these babies and giving them a voice...and a chance".

Oh, I don't know. Maybe your posting history?

I'm pro-choice, but most of the world agrees that's way too late.

Why isn’t that the defense for all murders?

Tell that to the baby that was murdered.
What would you consider late term??

At abortion at 2 minutes or 2 days or 2 months is all pure evil and pure murder. It's no different than throwing a 2 year old into a fire.
This one of the reason's why I call you guys "conservatards"
Clever.
A woman is pregnant with a human life, or she isn’t.
Argue semantics all day, but it is what it is.

It failed because it uses non-scientific evidence that a fetus can feel pain.
What were they looking for, scientific evidence? Are they looking for a study? Hell, err on the side of life. What is wrong with some of these people?
What do I know, though. Apparently, I'm one of them there conservatards.

Do you guys have better food for later term abortion parties?

Late term to me would signify the third trimester. 20 weeks is in the second trimester, and abortions at that stage are already really low and mostly due to fetal deformities.
This was simply a vote to get Senators on the record for the 2018 elections so it can be used against vulnerable Dems. There's also no scientific evidence that fetuses at that stage can feel pain, so the title of the bill is misleading.
And I'm against abortion, so save the baby killer accusations for someone else.

It is unviable tissue stop harping on this.

As I said in another thread, those who blocked this legislation, should be made to experience the pain of being ripped limb from limb, then they might change their vote.

How can you hold this belief and also be against pretty much any time a parent murders their child?

So if a human adult cannot live without the aide of a specific medication, I should legally be able to put a bullet in his head.
I mean, viability and whatnot.

The procedure might seem brutal, until you consider the endpoints of some of these horrific genetic abnormalities that would have otherwise come to fruition.
Ahhhh, the slippery slope of “abortion is terrible, but being born in X condition (downs/crippled/poverty/lowIQ) is horrible”.
I know you aren’t advocating the infanticide of babies born into poverty. However, your reasoning is problematic because the question now turns from whether the aborting is ok to what merits a “miserable” existence. Now it may be genetic disorders but what happens when the severity of those disorders deemed “abortion worthy” lessens? What if external factors such as fitness of parents becomes a consideration?

It's hard to believe that many Senators believe that it is ok to murder babies.
