US Senate defeats bill banning late-term abortion

"It is disappointing that despite support from a bipartisan majority of US senators, this bill was blocked from further consideration," Trump said in a statement.
"We must defend those who cannot defend themselves. I urge the Senate to reconsider its decision and pass legislation that will celebrate, cherish and protect life."
"We may not have the votes this time, but we are advancing the issue, and we're going to continue to fight for the unborn, particularly those who are capable of feeling pain after 20 weeks," Senator Lindsey Graham, the bill's chief sponsor, said in a statement.
What happened to passing a "bill of love"? Where are the democrats who support DACA as a "bill of love"? What is more loving, than protecting a child from experiencing severe pain at 20 weeks?

51 to 46. I’m truly shocked that 46 of our elected are ok with murdering babies at 5 months, 2 weeks before they can survive outside the womb. God will not look kindly on a nation slaughtering their young out of convenience. It’s not much different than sacrificing a child to moloch for wealth and power. It all boils down to money.

Here is Trump’s newest proposal. For every abortion, a Dreamer must go back. That means we will be deporting more than 3,000 Dreamers a day. We would have the original 800,000 back home by the fall.
