You see all of the stuff they’ve been releasing about the Russia investigation? They could at least release the same for the Epstein investigations…FBI files, interview 302s, internal comms, etc. They don’t need permission from a court to do that.

I’m starting to get the sense they don’t want to do that though

Congress could be letting subpoenas fly like they did with Hunter Biden. They're not doing that either and even shutting down so some people don't have to be caught trying to oppose getting more info.

Trump has called for the release of evidence and it was shot down.

You people are really going down with the ship believing this? That request was purely symbolic. It was a piss poor effort to get us to believe "he tried...time to move on" . Trump is either 100% implicated or compromised by Israel.

Trump can sign multiple Executive Orders and press Congress to push bills against "muh antisemitism". Hell, he's signed other EOs that bypass Congress and the courts as well to some success! But suddenly he decides to put one of our generations biggest scandals on the hands of our corrupt and bureaucratic courts???

The situation is too messy and he doesn't know how to deal with it.

Appeal to higher court.

Keep going till USSC and release it all.

Thats the only way this ever goes away.

Not if you actually want information to get to the public. Grand Jury information is highly protected. This was a designed failure clearly.

Trump can order the release of all the evidence the FBI collected in the case. He can waive privilege and release DOJ files on the case too. Some personally identifiable information for witnesses/victims may need to be redacted, but all that can be released ASAP. But Trump hasn’t done that.

Why?

Democrat playbook:

“Drumph is a pedo, release it all”

Trump: “Release it all”

Lefty judge blocks: “Gerrr what is Trump hiding???”

He hasn’t said that since he's been President. He made noises about that on the campaign trail, but since his election, the only thing I recall is Trump strongly implying Bill Clinton is on the Epstein client list, and then later saying it's all some sorta hoax.

What he requested was the release of "pertinent" grand jury findings, that everyone knew would not be released.

Trump knew the transcripts wouldn’t be released.

Everything that the government submitted before the grand jury could be released independently by the government without any reference to the grand jury.

This is wrong in so many ways that I know where to start. There are for the most part two types of evidence presented to the grand jury: (1) transcribed testimony, and (2) exhibits. If those things are under seal, there is very little recourse for getting the information out in another form.

True, at both state and federal level. But I had always thought the government had the discretion to release grand jury info.
