US House voted to repeal law that allows senators to sue for phone searches.

The U.S. Senate slipped the provision into the legislation that reopened the government in November. It allows eight Republican senators to sue for $500,000 if their phone records are obtained without prior notification.
My thoughts. If citizens can't, then they can't. But this just shows no one reads the shite in the bills to begin with
