Weird. You weren't complaining at all during Biden's term when things were much more expensive. Why? Why is it an issue now when prices and costs have gone down? I bought 30 eggs for $4.99 a couple days ago and filled up with $2.37 gallon gas the last time I went to the pump.

How is it anything like a Biden second term?

We dont have 20% inflation

It's what MSNBC, CNN and all the mainstream lib media propganda outlets and pundits are telling them. I hear it from my mother, a TDS sufferer and MSNBC disciple. She didn't say anything about how expensive things were under Biden... when I was paying for a lot of it because I help support her financially.... Lately when we talk, she always brings up the economy and how "everything costs so much now..." It's hilarious.

You don't remember the red hot economy Biden oversaw that I loved and was ready to vote for Biden or Kamala again to continue with it? It's almost exactly like the red hot economy under Trump. We're so lucky that we got 2 geriatric economic geniuses to lead our country back to back.

Did I hurt your feelings by lying and paroting TDS propaganda talking points?

Nope, this is not going to work. Democrats about to gain 25+ house seats later this year.

It's the same economy fueled by AI spending. Doesn't have much to do with either administration.

“Prices and costs” have gone up since Trump took over. Sure, you can point to some things that have gone down, but the aggregate, which is what matters, has gone up - not as much as under Biden but still more than is optimal.

Elsewhere in the report, corporate profits soared by $166.1 billion, or 4.2%, compared with a gain of $6.8 billion in the second quarter.

That seems pretty good.

I wrote a post the other day explaining how optimistic I am about 2026 and I am still very excited about what's to come

Money board just now starts a post about GDP.

5 hours later because those nerds aren’t eager to report positive economic news

Didn’t they mention inflation actually increasing in the same report?

November and December have me optimistic for next year. The middle of the year was pretty rough in my industry. We went through about 6 months of sales below expectations largely due to tariffs raising costs. I’ve been up year over year 25% the last 2 months though. It seems people are adjusting.

Sounds modest but positive, especially with the rate of inflation down. This isn’t an economic miracle, but it’s definitely a positive sign of good potential for next year.

The inflation rate went down? I thought it went up almost half a point or so?

This is inaccurate and not true. Inflation is now back to bench mark of 2%.
