woke up this morning secure in the thought that President Trump is in charge. He is saving lives - all while fixing this awful Joe Biden economy the crook left us. I didn't think anyone could mess up an economy more than Barack Obama could.........but Joe Biden sure did.

“The economy” - and it’s clear you don’t understand what that means - was in the toilet after Dubya’s real estate collapse and Trump shitting the bed with covid. both left a robust economy for Trump and he completely botched it. He’s not smart

In the same year that illegal immigration was controlled?? No way!

Guess we're just going to ignore the post above that showed a bigger year over year decline from 23 to 24?

Notice the years.

2019, 2023, specifically.

So you're dumb enough to think that this is due to the narco strikes that began in September of last year?

The stupidity around here never ceases to amaze me

Liberals will have a problem with this.

Why should they? Trump wasn’t president n 2024.

Could be simply this

Whatever it is, it doesn't have anything to do with the presidency in either case

Or the article:

quote:

The data examined U.S. deaths from August 2024 to August 2025, as the Biden administration increased border enforcement near the end of his term — amid heavy criticism — before President Trump took office last year, after which the decline in drug overdose deaths accelerated.

quote:

“The fall begins at the end of the Biden administration, but the question is, was it in anticipation of a tough-on-crime president coming in?” Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant and adjunct criminal justice professor at Penn State Lehigh Valley, told Fox News.

quote:

While other factors may include increased availability of opioid overdose antidotes, such as Narcan, the retired NYPD sergeant said he believes that nothing has made a bigger impact than “shutting down the floodgates at the border.”

“The jury is still out on the effect of blowing up drug boats, but I can imagine it working as a deterrent as well,” Giacalone said. “Deterrence matters in criminal justice policy.”

.....and I suppose you believe Joe Biden was an economic and financial wizard, eh?

Thanks to President Trump I can afford to put gasoline in my "new" car. The car I bought when the cost of a new car and interest rates declined enough to where I could afford one. A new car during the Biden disaster years was impossible.

.....and guess what? The Cost-of-Living in my town is still coming down. I guess the sharp drop in the cost of fuel is working its way through the food chain, eh?

Go peddle your democrat propaganda somewhere else snowflake. I'm doing very well during the Trump second term........thank you.

President Trump is right about........everything.
