I sent an email to his office yesterday urging him to withdraw his support for McCarthy. No response.
I WILL weigh that into my considerations when it comes time to vote again late next year.

The dissenters must have been told that they will get their demands but conditional them not nominating anyone this round

I can only imagine the pressure being put on these people (and, more particularly, their families and businesses). Still, it's bullshite.
Frankly, they should vote for Jeffries. At least there will be no question as to the motives and intent of the Speaker.
