And who and when does it stop? Black babies born by what date? Blacks or mixed blacks? In perpetuity? During the 30-year period? How about those that die during that time? Does it go to heirs or stop? So many questions.
This will be fun to watch, at the least as everyone falls all over themselves to get in on the cash grab.

Let them do a genealogical search to find out who their ancestors were and who owned them. Most just assume they come from American slaves but don't really know. They can then sue the descendants of their slave owner. I come from poor dirt farmers.

If they get $350,000 per slave. Then the government owes me $350,000 per slave that was rightfully owned property at the time of emancipation and my ancestor of whom was not properly compensated by the government.
I have access to the historical ledgers and 65 slaves were confiscated that were recorded.
65 x $350,000 ea.
= $ 22,750.000
I think we can work out a deal....
If they get $350,000 per slave. Then the government owes me $350,000 per slave that was rightfully owned property at the time of emancipation and my ancestor of whom was not properly compensated by the government.

Most of the incorporated municipalities didn't even exist then.
What they are talking about is the U.S. footing the bill but the U.S. generally wasn't involved in the slave trade.
