I didn’t say this. I said they wanted to decapitate the regime. That doesn’t mean just taking out the leader. It means taking out enough of the leadership that the remaining government can be controlled by us. In Venezuela that was apparently just one man. In Iran it will be dozens. I think Trump 2.0 is making the move against Iran before they acquire nuclear weapon. Once a nation gets a nuke the whole calculus changes. If not for a nuke Kim Jong Un and North Korea may not exist today.
